John the Baptist was a man SENT from God which equals that John had a personal history of the dealings of God.

Trust in Him

Posted: 2 April, 2016

Many times we do plunge into despair when we do not see or feel Him. Trust is not found in seeing and feeling and having in your hand the evidence of His presence and love.

Trust is when you do not understand, when you walk without seeing the road ahead and place your feet without seeing the path in front of you- that is when you trust Him. He says He is the light. We say, the Lord is my Light. You declare it because you're in dark place and as you place your hand in His and walk in the darkness, darkness parts and light is there.

Micah 7:7 But as for me, I will look to the Lord and confident in Him I will keep watch; I will wait with hope and expectancy for the God of my salvation; my God will hear me.
8
Rejoice not against me, O my enemy! When I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the Lord shall be a light to me.

Our trust in Him on the sunny days of life when all is clear is often mixed with the sense of your control of the situation; seeing the path you rely on your own ability to navigate and find your way through life.

In the fog your inability to control is the opportunity to choose to abandon yourself to His care without seeing or feeling.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, lean not upon your own understanding (even the things you know to be true) acknowledge Him, (confess and bring Him as Lord into your situation) Acknowledge Him. To recognize a person; to observe that a person is here, by knowing that they are here. Recognize and observe they are present, recognize who they are and make room for them. Examples: if I am in a meeting and I sitting, the ones who are conducting the meeting will acknowledge that I am there and recognize me and sometimes will make room for me to be part of the meeting. In the recognizing of God, we are acknowledging that He is there presently, and is with me and lives within me; we make room for God to work and move. Recognize God is here. Recognize He is present; the Ever Present. Recognize His presence. He is in the present moment that I am walking through. All that He is, He is in all, He all the fullness that He is and all that Calvary accomplished is NOW All that was accomplished is here as fresh as it was done present reality now; He is faithful to do all that He said, here present, to implement See God in this moment; or any situation now in this moment
Now, another person, another place, over there, back there, what was, what will be, but NOW. You are the temple of the Holy Spirit. He is within. Temples are places where there is worship to God. We were made to worship Him; and He shall bring it to pass.

You have never trusted His love more than in such a moment. You are the beloved of His heart and you do not walk alone for He walks with you and in you. He is not a stranger to your path, remote from you.

Jesus knew what is was to eat and feel full, He has drunk and felt the satisfaction of thirst. He felt tiredness. He has been ask to go to parties, He has cried tears, knew what it was like to lose an earthly father (Joseph). He knew the responsibility of being a first born son and taking care of His mother. He had a business and knew what is like to pay taxes and be cheated. He knew what it was like to be betrayed. He did this as a human. He wept over injustice, grief over what sin and sickness has done.

Amazing love is that The Godhead was Spirit and the Godhead has forever changed. He became a man and now sits at the right hand of the Father still with a body. He became our High Priest who could feel our pain, identifies with every emotion whether the joy or our grief and our sorrow. We can go to Him and know He empathizes with us, lay it all upon Him our High Priest and He does intercede for us as us.

Learning to Bless in your 'Prison Bars'

Learn to bless in your prision bars. When Joseph was resurrected from his pit, he inherited the keys to the prison that had held him. With resurrection comes authority.

Deuteronomy 31: 6,8

Posted: 5 April, 2016

Deuteronomy 31:6,8 Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the LORD your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.”
It is the LORD who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.

Thanksgiving!

Posted: 13 April, 2016

Thanksgiving will draw our hearts out to God and keep us engaged with Him; it will take our attention from ourselves and give the Spirit room in our hearts. Thanksgiving for mercies received is a mighty prayer in the Spirit of God that prevails with Him and draw His favor towards us.

TRUE worship

Posted: 15 April, 2016

You will worship something or someone. We will worship God, a god of our own imagination, creation, ourselves, but we will worship. We reflect what we worship, no matter who you are or what you believe.

If you treat people critically and are judgemental that is the way you perceive God treats you & will treat you. If you treat people with grace that how you perceive God treats you and that is the way you will treat others. It is seen whether you realize it or not.

As we mature in the Lord, much of your repentance (changing of your mind & the set of your being) is what you have perceived God to be like. What we have thought about God is idolatry and false. It brings sorrow to you and those around you. As we grow, we see Him as He really is the old & its bondages fall. The fruit of the Spirit is what the very character of what God is like.

Jesus said if you have seen me you have seen the father.

In regards to goodness; it is the best part of anything, essence and strength. Goodness is the quality which is out to do far more than that, and which desires to give a man all that is to his benefit and help." the man who is good goes far beyond it."
This suggests that the primary idea of goodness is “generosity”

It is a beauty with kindess toward generosity and moral excellence. The main emphasis of this is God generosity in provision, kindess, healing and deliverance & it is in overabundance

When God gave provision & deliverance it was with generosity. The examples of Christ goodness; that is his generosity in deliverance & provision are:
He fed the multitudes with 5 loaves and 2 fishes and had 12 baskets left over and all were satisfied. 12 baskets full left over. What are they going to do with all the left overs and why so much? This is the goodness of God.

Turning the water into wine. Israel was apostate and there was a self-fulling prophecy that if you ran out of wine on your wedding then you will always be in lack and your marriage is doomed. Jesus does care about the things we care about. He didn’t let them be ashamed and the miracle was generous. The majority of guests have already drank wine, but Jesus turns 180 gallons of water into wine. That is exceedingly abundance generosity in provision. This is God’s goodness. That is over abundance, it did not have to be that much, but it was and it was the best wine.

You can preach that God will fill your tasteless, lacking empty life and would be good and right, but you can’t loose sight of face value what actually first happened and the provision

Peter the fisherman by profession, he knows fish and knows his business. He is not a carpenter or a rabbi. He knows the time when the fish are out, and toiled all night long, they caught nothing. Toiling all night is weariness, of mind, body, emotion. Trying and trying & doing all we know to do in all of your efforts and nothing happening. The Lord says to let down the net on the right side. He says, “at thy word.” God came to him in his weariness and did what he could not do for himself. That is the goodness of God.

The catch was over abundant, exceeedingly abundant. What are they going to do with all that fish? He was a business man. He really made a profit. This is the goodness of God.

Barnabas He was generous with his possessions, sold his possession and gave to the church. He was called a good man also an exhorter. The Christians were leary of Paul and ostracized him. He was the one that killed their loved ones, their Christian friends and persecuted them. They did not trust the report that he was a brother. When Barnabas heard about him, he could not and would not rest to let someone fall between the cracks, to see if he is a brother and what can be done. It was Barnbas that sought Paul out, found him and brought him to the church elders Acts 9:27. It was at Barnabas word and characcter that the elders believed what was said about Paul and he took Paul under his wing. He poured into his life and saw his potential, his call. Barnabas encouraged, promoted and gave Paul opportunities

It is first recorded as Barbabas and Paul and in Acts 12:25; 13:2. It is in this order, but because he is a good man, knowing God’s goodness he recognizes that the anointing for the work is greater on Paul and scripture validates it and it is now Paul and Barnabas in that order in Acts 13:46. He is not a jealous, he is a good man.

Just as the sun radiates heat and light; that is what the sun does and is, so is God good. Rely, trust and believe that God is good and expect to receive and see it.

Faith in Christ

Posted: 25 April, 2016

Whatever you acquire to know by your mental capacities, (brain) without the Holy Spirit first regenerating your spirit, and dependency upon the Holy Spirit to make it your possession; that knowledge, my dear friend will not help you at all. If your belief rests in man’s wisdom and not God’s power you are just excited in your soul.

Faith in Christ makes one a believer; obedience to the Holy Spirit makes him a spiritual believer..
We need to yield specifically to the Lord, believe that He IS, forsake every doubtful aspect in your life, the feeling of isolation, be willing to obey y God's will, and believe through prayer that He will flood their spirit with His power.

Romans 6:22

Posted: 27 April, 2016

Romans 6:22 (AMP) “22 But now since you have been set free from sin and have become the slaves of God, you have your present reward in holiness and its end is eternal life.” If you are in the world you are not set free. You are a slave of Satan under the Kingdom of darkness in the old man Adam, if you are set free under grace, you are the new man now in Christ, the Slave of God in the Kingdom of His dear Son. Grace causes you not to sin because by grace you are a slave of God. You do get to choose because you are set free from the authority of the old man, but you have the flesh (not dependent on God, but self)The flesh is at enmity against God; you are either going to function in one kingdom or the other. Both have consequences. If you function in the kingdom of darkness there is a host that would like to take you in; but if you function in the kingdom of His dear son, you will find He is your truest friend, savior and God.
