Ephesians 3:19

Ephesians 3:19...and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.
God can heal a broken heart and take you beyond your disappointments, heal and restore. Only God's love can make you whole.The love of God revealed to your very being can truly heal, make you whole, calm your fears, take down the walls you have built and what you receive from Him is what you give out. What you receive will exceed what you could ever do on your own. I don't believe that you can ever exhaust the revelation of the love of God for yourself and praying for others.
I believe that when you ask for the revelation of the love of God for you, you are restored and will begin to see other and situations in a different light.
We pray for more power and more gifts. As we all know the love chapter of 1 Corinthian 13 is sandwhiched in between the chapters on the gifts and rightly so.

If you love the person that is in front of you, God will give the necessary gift that is needed. It is not necessary to know ahead of time what the person needs or presume you already know. We will always be in the posture of the man going to his friend for bread at midnight. You may not have the bread in yourself, many times you really feel that I don't know what to do and I have nothing to say or give, but you have a friend who always has bread and will always give the necessary bread to you.

The love of God revealed is the fullness of Him, knowing Him, His power and authority revealed

When Jesus had the paralytic brought to him by his friends, He did not quickly tell him rise and walk, ( I would think that would be the most logical thing to do) He said to him, your sins are forgiven. This particular person needed that. To one that was a deaf and dumb , He healed them, to the second one He cast it out the spirit.

I remember being called one evening around 11:30 P.M. by a friend whose roommate she felt was in a crises and asked me to come. I did. When I went into the house and looked at her, lying in a bed, she was totally contorted. I thought, Oh my God, she needs deliverance or the psych ward like now; either a demon has to be cast out or she is in the throws of a nervous breakdown. I wanted to call her family and an ambulance. I began to pray, holding her hand and I heard the Lord say, speak and impart peace to her, speak peace to her whole being. I did and amazingly before my eyes and her roommate which was a strong testimony to her, her entire body began to relax, her whole countenance changed and you could see the transformation of God in her entire being. How God began to deal with her in the days was astounding.

One time my pastor asked me to work with this particular woman. I did not say anything to him but looked at him. This woman at that time could be crowned queen of mean as well as she did not have a prejudice bone in her, she hated everyone equally. My pastor looks at my face and starts laughing and says, "You don't think I heard from the Lord" I didn't say, but I thought, of course I don't think you heard from the Lord, but I said to him, "everybody has tried to work with her and the results are zero, zip, nada and what do you think I can do?" Well, I said fine. This is going to be a waste of time. I began to pray and I heard the Lord ask me, "who is your life?"
I said, "You are Lord." I began seeing this woman and she was true to form, mean and hateful, but the constant was, You Lord are my life and I did not have any particular feelings of love, empathy or anything. I did receive grace and truthfully I expected nothing. I did pray that God's love would be revealed to her as it was to me. I knew though, for whatever reason, the pastor asked and the Lord spoke.
This woman heart began to soften and so did her face. A friendship and a bond began to happen. I thought the Lord's spirit is getting hold of her. The word was being applied to her heart. She so transformed her husband came to the Lord as well as her children.
One day she asked to give a testimony. I thought this is good. She is such a different person.
Then she said that when the pastor asked if she would spend time with Sandy. I thought what is this? She said that she could feel the love of God come from me even before I spoke anything to her and the many things that she had done to guard her own heart from pain, she felt them come down and it was like a heart being massaged and healed.
I was thoroughly embarrassed and humbled by this. My pastor wasted no time to come to me and to rub it into my face that he did hear from the Lord. I retorted in jest and said I don't believe for one moment that this was going to happen.

 

Being faithful to God enables us

It is not my ability, but my response to God's faithfulness, His willingness, His ability, to believe that He is good and for me that matters. In your time alone with God with Faith draw near. Besiege His throne with prayer. We need to have a faith that will possess us.
