Acquaint yourself with God

Posted: July 5, 2018

If you are distant and little acquainted with prayer then you will be just as unacquainted with His power

Psalm 84

Posted: July 6, 2018

Psalm 84: 4 How blessed are those who dwell in Your house!
They are ever PRAISING YOU.
5 How blessed is the man whose strength is in You,
In [c]whose heart are the highways to Zion!
6 Passing through the valley of Baca they make it a [e]spring;
The early rain also covers it with blessings.
7 They go from strength to strength,

You are joined to the Almighty in your spirit and you are called to praise Him. That is where you receive His strength within. Your are becomes the highways to Zion as you are praising Him. He inhabits your praises, He rises up in you and for you. Therefore as you pass through the valley of Baca, the valley of weeping, that hard place it will become a spring and you receive of the Lord strength which His wisdom, grace knowledge, authority so receive strength. Rise up warriors. Give Him your praise.

God's enduring authority

Ecclesiastes 3:10-14

Posted: July 9, 2018

We can learn more about God and His movements in reaction to our life’s toils by understanding Ecclesiastes 3:10-14, specifically.

10 I have seen the burden God has laid on the human race.
11 He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet[a] no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.
12 I know that there is nothing better for people than to be happy and to do good while they live.
13 That each of them may eat and drink, and find satisfaction in all their toil—this is the gift of God.
14 I know that everything God does will endure forever; nothing can be added to it and nothing taken from it. God does it so that people will fear him.

We see the affliction in the meaningless toil of life in (v.10), but see that our patience in waiting for Him makes the toil beautiful in His timing in (v.11). As we set our minds on things below, we will find the toiling useless. However, if we focus our hearts on eternity, as shown in (v.11), we will find meaning in the toiling. Instead of focusing on the toiling, we can find pleasure in Him as we do the work God sets before us, as shown in (v.12). Pleasure cannot be found when focusing on the toiling within the carnal. Rather, pleasure is found in the eternal work of God, as shown in (v.14). God never changes and eternity is more important to us than the circumstances of life.

Give your burdens to Him

Posted: July 9, 2018

Many of you are weary and burdened. You were never intended to carry this burden but to trust in the Lord and give all your burden to Him. What does this mean? Every time you feel the burden, hand it back to Him. Stop picking that burden back up from the feet or our Savior. Leave the burden with Him for He is able to keep you in perfect peace. He can give you rest if you surrender that burden to Him.

Matthew 11:28-30 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

Draw near to God

Posted: July 10, 2018

“Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you.” James 4:8a “When He shall appear (draw nigh), we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him as He is.” I John 3:2b

Contact the Lord and spend time with Him, and you will become like Him. The closer the contact, the more you partake of His nature. He is such a fountain of life that He imparts life to all who approach Him. This “imparting” power is in Jesus Christ and is available to us.

There are varying degrees (levels) of fellowship and experience with God, as is taught by many Scriptural illustrations, such as the Outer Court, the Holy Place, and the Holy of Holies in the Tabernacle; the High Priest, the Priests, and the Levities in Israel; the three within the twelve disciples; the thirty-sixty-hundred fold.

“But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honor, and some to dishonor.” II Timothy 2:20

The Kingdom of God is indeed a great house, in which are many vessels varying in quality, capacity, rank, and order. Our “placement” in His Kingdom requires of us an extensive and particular course of preparation. A part of this is the development within us of a quality prophetic capacity.

“Prophecy” is the utterance of one who has developed this prophetic quality - one who partakes of God, of His Divine nature, who eats the flesh and drinks the blood of Christ, the true bread of God.

True prophecy is God speaking by the mouth of man, yet it is more than that.

“The words that I speak to you, they are spirit, and they are life.” John 6:63 The “prophetic word” is spirit words, which are brought down to the human level to become words of life to the hearer.

“For the Kingdom of God is not in word, but in power.” I Corinthians 4:20 “And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power.” I Corinthians 2:4

To merely speak the words of divine truth apart from an experiential knowledge of them is to be as a Pharisee, of whom Jesus said, “They say and do not”" The Words of the Almighty are full of life and power. Christ has nothing in common with Pharisees.

For the Son of God to become the Savior of men, He first became the man Jesus Christ: a babe in a manger, a boy in the temple, a man from Nazareth who was a carpenter, baptized of John. He received witness of His Father from Heaven through a voice saying, “This is My beloved Son in whom I am well pleased,” as the Holy Spirit, in the form of a dove, descended upon Him. One would suppose that His ministry would begin at once, but instead, “Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness, being forty days tempted of the devil.”

Jesus must know the vicissitudes and sufferings of man with the various attacks, insinuations, and temptations of Satan, so malicious and painful.

“For we have not a High Priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.” Hebrews 4:15

Not only did Christ personally meet and vanquish Satan, but He dwelt among the people. He met and shared their temptations, trials, problems, and sufferings. He ate with the publicans and sinners. He was too familiar with the common people to suit the religious leaders of that time. They had theories to promulgate, but He had spirit, life, and power to impart.

And He came to know - not by observation, but by experience, our afflictions and heartaches, that He might become a merciful and faithful High Priest.

When Jesus spoke, it was the anointed prophetic word, gracious, full of spirit, life, and power. The dead came to life, lepers were cleansed, the lame leaped, the blind saw, and life sprang up wherever His Word came. For He not only spoke the Word, He had compassion. He felt, He knew, He experienced and lived in the life of the articulated Word. This is the mystery - that Jesus not only spoke the Word, He was the Word (John 1:1-5).

Jesus said, “I proceeded forth and came from God” (John 8:42). He proceeded as the living Word from the Father, and came forth into the world as a messenger sent by the Father.

This procession of the Word, from the Father through the Son, is a most profound mystery; and can be rightly understood only as God reveals it. That same infinite power that is in God, the Almighty Father, and in Christ, the Almighty Son, is in their spoken proceeding Word. Nothing of it can fail.

“Forever, O Lord, Your Word is settled in heaven.” Psalms 119:89

And so of Jesus, the God-man, not only does the fullness of the Godhead dwell bodily in Him, but the fullness of man also. Jesus not only knew us by observation and discernment, but He participated in our thoughts and feelings, partook of our human (un-fallen) nature, and became a sharer in our joys and sorrows, our pleasures and pains, and all our vicissitudes: a merciful and faithful High Priest, in all points tempted and tried, yet without sin.

We then are to become His ministers, and share the eternal Word in its being spoken forth. This procession, or coming forth of the Word does not end with the Son; but the “Word of God was preached of Paul,” the early Church, and onward through us (Acts 17:13, 19:20).

He who proclaims the Word of God must first partake thereof himself; he must eat the book – “The husbandman must first be partaker of the fruit.” He cannot speak the Word mechanically as a mere machine, like Balaam’s dumb ass. He first shall enter into its fellowship, and experience its meaning and life. This is a living essential truth, which lies at the foundation of the prophetic Word of God. It cannot be evaded without our becoming pharisaical.

“Let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom.” Colossians 3:16a

“In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come to Me, and drink. He that believes on Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.” John 7:37-38

To become a “co-worker” with the Lord in dispensing the quickened, anointed Word of God is a most exalted ministry. But it requires being a partaker of the Word before one can become a dispenser thereof.

Natural water carries, in solution, the elements of food. The water-of-life is the Spirit of Christ carrying the Word of God, His words and gifts. One who is “prophetic” becomes a dispenser of this living Word, and its miracle effects.

Do not worry about tomorrow..

Posted: July 10, 2018

God fed the Children of Israel every day as they wandered through the desert. He could have given them enough food to last a week. Why did He feed them every day, instead? To help them build trust in Him for all their needs. They had to learn who He was and His character.

God never changes. He remains the same. Even now, He is teaching His children to lean on Him every day for their needs.

Are you worrying about tomorrow? Are you worrying about your situation or circumstances? You were NOT saved by Christ to worry about anything. Give your worry to Him and learn to lean on Him for what you need each new day.

Times will arise whereby you do not understand what is happening or why circumstances are difficult. Become comfortable with not knowing the answers. Lean on Him and do not lean on your understanding. Much we cannot understand and lack of knowledge can lead us to fear. We are never to fear but to trust in Him. Trust-building is the relationship between God and His people even now.

Learn to trust in Him alone. Train your minds to focus on Him. Cast aside the thoughts and fears that torment your minds. Do not allow your hearts to be troubled. Trust Him and train your minds with intentional self-control.

Proverbs 3:5-6;
Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight.

He has the Key

Posted: July 11, 2018

I saw a woman sitting on a floor with a lockbox desperately trying to get it open without a key. The striving within self to obtain answers is fruitless until He chooses to give you the key to open the box. His timing is perfect. We need not strive to open that box. We wait, with patience and faith trusting in Him alone in that He will reveal the answers to us when the time is right. Remember, Psalm 46:20 "Be still and know that I am God". Be still before Him knowing that He has all the answers and He is faithful to His people. Trust in Him and learn to be patient. He is the Creator of ALL things. No need to strive within ourselves. No need to worry or to fear.

Praise is faith in action..

Posted: July 11, 2018

When you praise it is faith in action. If you praise after you receive that is gratitude, but when you are interacting with God , you are not doing as a method or formula, but a living relationship that He has brought you into by the blood of Jesus. You praising Him for being a God who IS, a God you are linked to His Name, a God who has bound Himself to you by the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ, the everlasting covenant, a God who hears, a God who delivers, a God who heals. When you are in the car on your way to the doctors praise Him who IS the Lord God who heals, The Lord God who intervenes. It doesn’t matter what the situation is, God IS. Give Him praise. Remember Jehosophat circumstances where the enemies had converged upon them, “Lord our eyes are upon you” ; they began to sing His covenant praises to the Lord “Give thanks to the LORD, for His lovingkindness is everlasting.” When they began singing and praising, the LORD set ambushes against the sons of Ammon, Moab and Mount Seir, who had come against Judah. God SENT ambush upon the enemies. God fought for them and will fight for you.

The locked door is not your door..

Posted: July 12, 2018

There will be many times that the Father closes doors in your lives and locks those doors. I was shown a person standing outside of a locked door banging on the door and trying to get in although the door was shut and locked.

It's time to move forward down the hallway to other doors. He is NOT going to unlock a door that He shut and locked for you. Why? Because that is NOT a door He wants you to enter.

If you do not move away from that locked door and walk toward other doors, you will not find the unlocked door He has for you.

So, if the door is locked, that is not your door. Move on to the door He unlocks and opens for you.

He is with you

Take heart that you are not left alone to face your challenges today. Jesus is right there with you, and He is supplying you His wisdom and favor to overcome every problem.

He made us the head not the tail

Posted: July 14, 2018

From Sandra Parker

I have made you the head and not the tail. For every challenge that reduces you to terror I am your strength of mind and hardness of face; I am your flint face within you. I am the wisdom and organizer of your thoughts and will be the words on your lips that none can speak against.
I paint your enemies in fluorescent colors so that you can see them. I draw them out by removing their camouflage.
I am your sure footing in the midst of the slippery slime of the enemy. Before you confront or have said a word I am your victory over all your enemies.

The sound of gentle 'stillness'

Posted: July 16, 2018

The sound of 'gentle stillness' after all the thunder and wind have passed will be the ultimate Word from God. Jim Elliott Strive in prayer; let faith fill your heart-so will you be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might. Let us thank God heartily as often as we pray that we have His Spirit in us to teach us to pray. Thanksgiving will draw our hearts out to God and keep us engaged with Him; it will take our attention from ourselves and give the Spirit room in our hearts

Prophetic Seers

Posted: July 16, 2018

PROPHETIC SEERS
Prophetic Seers are different than word based prophets. The word based prophet will move into the Holy Spirit realm and begin to open his mouth and the Holy Spirit will give the words and message.
The messages come forth from the inner spirit spontaneously.
The prophetic seer will see images, pictures and scenes. The prophetic seer will then describe, explain and likely interpret what he sees
Another way to look at this is to turn it around and think of a great prophetic river flowing from the throne of God that breaks into two streams - the prophet and the seer - which then give different degrees or dimensions or facets of prophetic impartation. Either way, it should be clear that both streams are important for the full expression of the Lord's prophetic word to His people in our day. Within the overall realm of the prophet lies the particular and distinctive realm of the Seer. The word "seer" describes a particular type of prophet who receives a particular type of prophetic revelation or impartation.

The Seer Realm lies in the particular and distinctive real of the seer. Remember all true seers are prophets, but not all prophets are seers. The word seer describes a particular type of prophet who receives prophetic revelation or impartation. Old Testament uses two words to refer to seer.
1. Ra’ah and chozeh which means to see vision, to gaze, to look up, to perceive.
2. Chozeh means a beholder in vision and can also be translated as gazer or star-gazer.
“SEER” Hebrew (7200, 7203, 2374, 2372)
• Hebrew 7200: ra’ah, raw-aw’; to see, look, view; to realize, know, consider; to be selected; to become visible, appear, show oneself; to be seen; to cause to see, show; to be shown; to look at each other, meet with; a general word for visual perception.
• Hebrew 7203: ro’eh, ro-eh’; a seer; vision.
• Hebrew 2374: Chozeh, kho-zeh’; seer, one who receives a communication from God, with a possible focus that the message had a visual component; agreement.
• Hebrew 2372: Chazah, khaw-zaw’; to see, to look, observe, gaze, by extension: to choose (one thing or another); to have visions, to prophesy.
“PROPHET” Hebrew (5030, 5012, 5197)
• Hebrew 5030: nabiy’, naw-bee’; a prophet (true or false).
• Hebrew 5012: naba’, naw-baw’; to prophesy, speak as a prophet; prophesy has its focus on encouraging or restoring covenant faithfulness, the telling of future events encourages obedience or warns against disobedience.
• Hebrew 5197: nataph, naw-taf’; to pour down; gently fall, drip; to (drip words) preach, prophesy.

The prophetic revelation is inspired as hear; speaker and the Prophetic seer is visual.
Two types, a prophet that is in the communicative dimension and the seer is the receptive dimension.
Scriptures that uses for seer are 2 Chronicles 29:30. 2 Samuel 24:11-12, 2 Samuel 7:2-5, 2 Chronicles 29:25.
People who do not move in the seer gift do not move in dreams, but strong in prophetic vessels at the same time, they can see angels, demons, lights, colors, dreams and visions, but do not have capacity to encourage people spontaneously or verbally.
Prophetic impartation means MASSA referring to “the hand of God” that release the burden of the Lord. The Lord deposits something that was not theirs before then we carry the burden as a word commission from the Lord. He lays on us a burden for a particular situation we carry that were imparted to us for days, weeks, months, even years. He gives us supernatural enablement of grace. The Holy Spirit endowment to prophesy and intercede in a way never before.
Through the manifestation of discerning of spirits Peter accurately discerned that Satan filled the heart of Ananias (Acts 5:3), and Paul knew that Elymas was a child of the Devil (Acts 13:10). Via discerning of spirits Paul knew that the slave who was mocking them was not just a disgruntled pagan, but someone under the influence of a demon, and he also knew the proper time to cast it out, after having put up with her mocking “many days” (Acts 16:16-18).

The seer, on the other hand is a prophet who tends to SEE. Their gift tends to flow in terms of visions, dreams, and divinely imparted knowledge and understanding. Unlike someone with a gift of knowledge, the seer's gift is received in the womb, and it is in a manner of speaking always 'tuned in.'

A Seer is highly anointed and sensitive; impartation come sometimes after waiting, contemplative, mediations upon the Lord which brings healing, deliverance moment, each movement has a different manifestation and operations. The seer gift is the gift of Elisha.
A seer can see in the invisible realm where life rules and reigns; It is a gift to bring the invisible to the visible. Like Elisha when the enemy armies came and surrounded where he was and he servant was in a panic. His servant could only see the vast army surrounding them; but Elisha saw the angelic armies of the Lord, God's angels surrounding them and saw that there were more with them than the armies that were visible. He therefore prayed for his servant that he was able to see. When you can see in the invisible, you bring the power and life to the visible in reality. Coupled with a seer is a breaker anointing which is a catalytic deposit of the Holy Spirit where eternity breaks through into the natural realm. It is a holy invasion where the gates of heaven are opened! This type of anointing will break through every obstacle and hindrance.
Just as Jehosopath was left with a skeleton army and all the multitude of enemies had conspired and converged to attack and destroy; as he went before the Lord afraid, but began to declare God covenant before Him; he received from the Lord and began praising and those with him were praising; the prophet in the midst by the Holy Spirit declared of the terms of the covenant “The battle is the Lord” As they continued to praise for it was as good as done because of what Jehospath received and saw that was transmitted were able to go to sleep which gave the enemy a 12 hour advantage; but all of God’s people there sang His praises. Scriptures say THE LORD SENT AMBUSH against the enemies; they all turned on each other and kill each other’s group.

The throne room of God

Posted: July 17, 2018

Throne room of God becomes realized as you give praise to his name. As you praise the realization as you see it you obtain and become sensitized.
Gathering of the priest; that is you and me; we are cover with dust of world, we feel the pressure out there. As we praise from the heart; you are lifting your heart andit cleanses you
Satan hates praise; darkness depression despair are his kingdom.
Hallelujah Halle primary meaning is radiating with light bragging and boasting of the I AM that I AM
Light disperses darkness. Praise disperses darkness.
Praise doesn’t only do something for me but does something in the spirit world. Giving praise to God gives great achievement in the spirit world that are connected with prayer
