Put My Tears in Thy Bottle..

Posted: July 1, 2015

Psalm 56:8 "put my tears in thy bottle."

There are two bottles. One bottle that catches the tears that you shed in loss and there was a "special bottle" for the finest wine.

David is referring to the special bottle, saying that he learned to release his sorrows, his betrayal, his mistakes, his shortcomings and sins to the Lord and truly give them to Him. To say you do this is one thing, to actually release it to God is another.

Joseph did release his pain and his perpetrators to God. When his father Jacob dies, his brothers feared Joseph would seek revenge for what they had done, he says to them, "As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good in order to bring about this present result, to preserve many people alive." Genesis 50:20

He is says you meant evil, there was an evil that was inspired, a plotting against me by you and inspired by the enemy, but God took that same meant and said, "I will take that". You belong to God therefore there is nothing that slips by His fingers in your life. God will work it out for His purpose and your good, even the evil that has come against you.

Look at God's commentary on this situation. It is found in Psalm 105:17 "He sent a man before them, Joseph, who was sold as a slave. They afflicted his feet with fetters, He himself was laid in irons; Until the time that his word came to pass,The word of the LORD tested him. The king sent and released him, The ruler of peoples, and set him free. He made him lord of his house And ruler over all his possessions, "

Learn to be present to the Lord as you release your pain and commit your way to Him. You will either be present to the Lord or present to your circumstances.

The results are when you truly give your pain, your grief and sorrow to the Lord and declare to Him and yourself, as your mind begins to go to its own speed runway; with your mouth declare The Lord is my Vindicator, The Lord is my Deliverer, The Lord is my Shield, The Lord is my Redeemer and the glory and the lifter of my head. The Lord is my helper. The Lord is my hiding place and refuge.

You will discover that the things that seem so bad, so raw and painful in your life, God takes those very things and pours His very own life, His sweetness and His revelation into you. What was so bad becomes the finest wine of your life that others can drink from.

Faith as small as a Mustard Seed..

Posted: July 3, 2015

Jesus chose to use the mustard seed as a comparison when He talked about faith. Being one of the smallest seeds known to man (about the size of a pinhead), the mustard seed has often been used to illustrate something of the tiniest size.

Many a times, we are so caught up in the trap of trying to muster up “enough faith” so that we can accomplish our desires and dreams. No matter how hard we try, it sometimes seems that our efforts will never amount to anything good. Could it be that this is exactly the issue that Jesus was trying to address?

Looking unto Jesus the Author and the Finisher of our Faith. It is looking to Him! Look at what the blood has done, what the cross has done. Look to the Faithfulness of God. You don't take out your eye ball to see how much sight you have. If you did that you see nothing, but if in the looking at you and beholding you, I can see and see rightly

In the verse quoted above, Jesus said that if we have faith, even if it’s of the tiniest size, we can command the mountains to move, and they will obey us. Therefore, it is clear that faith is not really a matter of its size or quantity. Instead, it is the size of the One in whom we put our faith in that makes all the difference.

The strength of our faith lies not in itself, but in the faithfulness of God. When we study the Bible carefully and take confidence in the promises that God has already fulfilled, we will begin to strengthen our faith in both His ability and willingness to fulfill His promises for our future.
In fact, the strongest of faith is based not in physical proof but on spiritual conviction. By believing in God, we are allowing Him to work in our lives and bring about blessings and miracles to both our lives, as well as those around us.
let us put our faith in our great God and His promises to us. Let Him be the anchor of our soul and we will no longer drift into the sea of doubt and unbelief.

Seeking the Will of the Spirit of God.

Posted: July 3, 2015

I seek the will of the Spirit of God through or in connection with the Word of God. The Spirit and the Word must be combined. If I look to the Spirit alone without the Word, I lay myself open to great delusions also. Thanksgiving will draw our hearts out to God and keep us engaged with Him; it will take our attention from ourselves and give the Spirit room in our hearts. Confusion and impotence are the inevitable results when the wisdom and resources of the world are substituted for the presence and power of the Spirit. The root-trouble of the present distress is that the Church has more faith in the world and the flesh than in the Holy Spirit, and things will get no better till we get back to His realized presence and power. Prayer is nothing but the breathing that out before the Lord, that was first breathed into us by the Spirit of the Lord.

Present to the Lord!

You are either present to your circumstances or you are present to the Lord.

James 4:8...Draw near to God

Posted: July 11, 2015

“Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you.” James 4:8a “When He shall appear (draw nigh), we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him as He is.” I John 3:2b

Contact the Lord and spend time with Him, and you will become like Him. The closer the contact, the more you partake of His nature. He is such a fountain of life that He imparts life to all who approach Him. This “imparting” power is in Jesus Christ and is available to us.

There are varying degrees (levels) of fellowship and experience with God, as is taught by many Scriptural illustrations, such as the Outer Court, the Holy Place, and the Holy of Holies in the Tabernacle; the High Priest, the Priests, and the Levities in Israel; the three within the twelve disciples; the thirty-sixty-hundred fold.

“But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honor, and some to dishonor.” II Timothy 2:20

The Kingdom of God is indeed a great house, in which are many vessels varying in quality, capacity, rank, and order. Our “placement” in His Kingdom requires of us an extensive and particular course of preparation. A part of this is the development within us of a quality prophetic capacity.

“Prophecy” is the utterance of one who has developed this prophetic quality - one who partakes of God, of His Divine nature, who eats the flesh and drinks the blood of Christ, the true bread of God.

True prophecy is God speaking by the mouth of man, yet it is more than that.

“The words that I speak to you, they are spirit, and they are life.” John 6:63 The “prophetic word” is spirit words, which are brought down to the human level to become words of life to the hearer.

“For the Kingdom of God is not in word, but in power.” I Corinthians 4:20 “And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power.” I Corinthians 2:4

To merely speak the words of divine truth apart from an experiential knowledge of them is to be as a Pharisee, of whom Jesus said, “They say and do not”" The Words of the Almighty are full of life and power. Christ has nothing in common with Pharisees.

For the Son of God to become the Savior of men, He first became the man Jesus Christ: a babe in a manger, a boy in the temple, a man from Nazareth who was a carpenter, baptized of John. He received witness of His Father from Heaven through a voice saying, “This is My beloved Son in whom I am well pleased,” as the Holy Spirit, in the form of a dove, descended upon Him. One would suppose that His ministry would begin at once, but instead, “Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness, being forty days tempted of the devil.”

Jesus must know the vicissitudes and sufferings of man with the various attacks, insinuations, and temptations of Satan, so malicious and painful.

“For we have not a High Priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.” Hebrews 4:15

Not only did Christ personally meet and vanquish Satan, but He dwelt among the people. He met and shared their temptations, trials, problems, and sufferings. He ate with the publicans and sinners. He was too familiar with the common people to suit the religious leaders of that time. They had theories to promulgate, but He had spirit, life, and power to impart.

And He came to know - not by observation, but by experience, our afflictions and heartaches, that He might become a merciful and faithful High Priest.

When Jesus spoke, it was the anointed prophetic word, gracious, full of spirit, life, and power. The dead came to life, lepers were cleansed, the lame leaped, the blind saw, and life sprang up wherever His Word came. For He not only spoke the Word, He had compassion. He felt, He knew, He experienced and lived in the life of the articulated Word. This is the mystery - that Jesus not only spoke the Word, He was the Word (John 1:1-5).

Jesus said, “I proceeded forth and came from God” (John 8:42). He proceeded as the living Word from the Father, and came forth into the world as a messenger sent by the Father.

This procession of the Word, from the Father through the Son, is a most profound mystery; and can be rightly understood only as God reveals it. That same infinite power that is in God, the Almighty Father, and in Christ, the Almighty Son, is in their spoken proceeding Word. Nothing of it can fail.

“Forever, O Lord, Your Word is settled in heaven.” Psalms 119:89

And so of Jesus, the God-man, not only does the fullness of the Godhead dwell bodily in Him, but the fullness of man also. Jesus not only knew us by observation and discernment, but He participated in our thoughts and feelings, partook of our human (un-fallen) nature, and became a sharer in our joys and sorrows, our pleasures and pains, and all our vicissitudes: a merciful and faithful High Priest, in all points tempted and tried, yet without sin.

We then are to become His ministers, and share the eternal Word in its being spoken forth. This procession, or coming forth of the Word does not end with the Son; but the “Word of God was preached of Paul,” the early Church, and onward through us (Acts 17:13, 19:20).

He who proclaims the Word of God must first partake thereof himself; he must eat the book – “The husbandman must first be partaker of the fruit.” He cannot speak the Word mechanically as a mere machine, like Balaam’s dumb ass. He first shall enter into its fellowship, and experience its meaning and life. This is a living essential truth, which lies at the foundation of the prophetic Word of God. It cannot be evaded without our becoming pharisaical.

“Let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom.” Colossians 3:16a

“In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come to Me, and drink. He that believes on Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.” John 7:37-38

To become a “co-worker” with the Lord in dispensing the quickened, anointed Word of God is a most exalted ministry. But it requires being a partaker of the Word before one can become a dispenser thereof.

Natural water carries, in solution, the elements of food. The water-of-life is the Spirit of Christ carrying the Word of God, His words and gifts. One who is “prophetic” becomes a dispenser of this living Word, and its miracle effects.

May the Lord Lift His Countenance Upon You..

Posted: July 14, 2015

May the Lord lift His countenance upon you

Lifting up the countenance is literally lifting up the face. It is the lifting of the face to catch your eye.
Do you remember when Joseph was looking at his brothers trying to find Benjamin?
‘Lift up the countenance.’ I did it tonight when Joan came in through the door. We were singing, and I saw her and I did this – that is, I lifted up my countenance. I caught her eye, which meant ‘I see you.’ It meant not only that ‘I see you,’ but also, ‘I know you – I’m glad you came. I’m delighted that you are here. You’re special to me…’ Do you know what I mean?
You are in a crowded room and someone across the room catches your eye with intention. You know there were looking at you, and you finally looked at them, and ‘click!’ That’s what the Old Testament expression means ‘to lift up the countenance.’ It means to search for someone and see them. This expression was used when Joseph’s brothers came back and brought Benjamin with them, and Benjamin was Joseph’s baby brother. He was very concerned as to what had happened. He sets up that whole scenario just to get Benjamin to visit with him. It says that he ‘lifted up his countenance,’ and when all the brothers and their servants were coming in, ‘Where’s Benjamin? Where’s Benjamin?’ And, he lifted up his countenance and ‘click’ he saw Benjamin, and that was it! That’s the reason that entire scenario was put together.
In the crowded mass of this world, ‘The Lord lift up His countenance upon you.’ God catches your eye and says, “I know you! You’re special. You’re my delight. You’re my unique one. You’re not just one in a crowd! You are the special one in the crowd. I caught your eye!” Do you see what it is saying?
Considering that this is your blessing, this day as you go about your business remember that the eye of God’s delight is upon you. He’s nuts about you and His eye is on you. Have you ever felt that you are a nobody and lost in a crowd too big to count. At such a time, remember that God knows you intimately and personally. That’s what it is saying. Thus, you are blessed!
Just the locking of eyes sends a message I KNOW YOU. In the deepest sense of that word, I know you. What is implied there is “I accept you.” It means that you are in my inner circle, it is not the whole place, it is you, you. It is you are accepted.

There has been times where I have been called to and it seems much, much bigger that what I can handle and I know some of the people that have prayed for me and I know that they are with me. Just looking and locking eyes, they send me strength. There is just that look that means I can do this. We are with you. No words have been said, but out through your eyes, your soul has reached. An embrace has happened; love in imparted and strength is given. Eyes have let your soul out and your soul has embraced.
The Lord locks eyes with you and says, I know you. I totally accept you. I delight in you. Once I say Lift up the face-lift up the countenance, it means that the person you have locked eyes with has been separated out from the crowd. This is what distinguishes you, you are not someone in a massive crowd. God lifting up of the countenance and the locking of eyes with a person you are actually gifting the person. You are bestowing upon them specialness, importance, worth, and value. God is saying, You are not just a person here. I lift up my face, I search the crowd and see you and lock eyes and am bestowing upon you worth. This is what God determines for His covenant people. You will be my pocket money.
Do you get this? This is a tremendous word. God says, “This is what I will, this is what I determine for My covenant people – to lift up My eyes and catch their eye.”
He said the same thing to them at the beginning of the covenant when this motley crowd turns up at Mount Sinai, and the covenant begins. This is how it begins. God says, “You will be to me a peculiar people.” Now, that means, “You will be My pocket money.” A more modern translation would be, “You will be My special treasure.” And then, it goes on, “For all the peoples of the earth are Mine.” God says, “I own every human being, but you! You are My special treasure, or My pocket money.”
That is, all the money in my billfold is mine, but I’ll pay bills with it, I’ll do this with it and I’ll do that with it. But pocket money? That’s mine! I can do what I want with that! I own all my money, but pocket money is mine to enjoy, to play with, etc. It’s mine, in a unique sense.
The covenant that God made with this people at Mount Sinai begins with those words. Read it in Exodus 19. He said, “I brought you on eagles wings out of Egypt that you might be to Me My special treasure.” Literally translated, ‘My pocket money.” You will literally be Mine – Mine! It was so much so, that they were given the extreme privilege of calling Him, “My God.” I mean think about that! You are so special; you are so unique among all the peoples of the earth. The people of the earth call Him God, but only you can say, “my God.”
And, He said, “All the peoples of the earth are Mine, but you are My people.” Those two words become the mark of the Covenant. God says, “You are My people; I will be your God.” All the way through the covenants of the Old Testament, that rings like a tolling bell right into the New Testament. That is the mark of the Covenant People. God is not simply ‘God!’ He is My God. There is a possessiveness. And, in the New Testament, He introduces the word ‘gift.’ I give you the gift of life. I gave My son. The gift of the Holy Spirit.
If I gave you this Bible, from that moment on it is your Bible! If I give it to you, a gift is that which you receive to enjoy for yourself. And, it works both ways. God says, “You are My people.” That is, God says, “I delight in you. Out of all the peoples of the earth, you’re my pocket money. You are My people in a unique way – a special way! You have the significance upon you as you walk among all other peoples of the earth. You’re mine! And, you can turn to Me and say, “You’re mine!”
You own God, and God owns you! This is true riches – TRUE RICHES! I’m not being a ranter, now.
Matthew caught hold of this. He was the pariah dog of society. He was a tax collector, hated by everybody and despised by his own employers – the Romans, because he is a Jew that sold himself out to the Romans. The Jews hate him, too. He is loved by no one. So, they called him a dog; the dogs that prowled around the rubbish heaps. That’s what they said to him when they saw him. They spat at him as they paid their taxes: You filthy dog! And, then he heard the voice of Jesus saying, “Follow Me.” Then, he wrote the Gospel of Matthew. Do you remember how he describes his own account? It’s not what Mark wrote about it, or Luke wrote about it. This is Matthew saying what happened! He said Jesus came by the customhouse and saw A MAN named Matthew. Everybody else saw a ‘dog.’ Matthew said, “I remember those eyes. He saw me – a man! And, He said to me, ‘follow me.’”
It’s interesting that it doesn’t say, ‘you lift up your eyes and try to catch God’s eye!’ It doesn’t begin with us; it begins with God. He lifts up! Jesus is the lifting up of His eyes. The Holy Spirit is the eye of God coming to you. All you can do is accept His looking at you.
It hurts, because He shows what a mess you’ve made of life. Don’t run to the darkness! Run to God with the mess, and discover that you are caught up into the Cross of Jesus and into His resurrection. You are made the New Man – the New Creature.
The Lord lift…
And, for this we are made! You know, there is another expression for this. The Hebrews were big on this! Okay, what do we have? Face, countenance, and presence – all mean the same thing. But then, you must have read this one:
I have found favor in Your eyes…
When you read the Old Testament, this saying is everywhere: I have found favor in Your eyes. It means the same thing! I lift up my countenance, I look at you, and you can tell by the way I look at you that you found favor in my eyes. I like you! You know?
I delight in you. There’s that connection.
Do you remember Ruth, the Moabitess (which meant she came from across the border, couldn’t even speak proper Hebrew, she was the wrong color being far too dark for the Hebrews, and had an atrocious accent)? She turns up with her mother-in-law, Naomi, who is a basket case of depression, and they’ve got no money, no work, and they are about to lose everything and so Ruth joins the unemployment line. She goes on welfare ala Hebrew fashion, which was to go and collect all the wheat and barley that the reapers left behind. She was deeply resented for that because there was hardly enough for Hebrew welfare folk, let alone to have a Moabite come in here!
Do you remember Boaz who owned all that you could see for miles around? He comes in and he falls head-over-heels in love with Ruth, and tells the reapers in front of her to deliberately fumble and drop everything so that she just picks up enough to feed the whole house. When he starts talking to her, and giving her favor, she’s wiped out! She said, “How did I find favor in your eyes that you should notice me?” Meaning, ‘Not me! I don’t even come from Bethlehem. I’m the wrong color, the wrong accent, and the kid from across the border. I’ve found favor in your eyes. You lifted up your countenance on me? You noticed me?
When you understand what I am talking about, that can be your only reaction: This is what fear of the Lord means. It means the ‘Wow! I have found favor in the eyes of God. God has lifted up His countenance on me! He caught my eye and said, Sandy Yes! He delights in me! He says, “I know you! You’re in My inner circle, for you in My Son, who is the delight of my eyes!”
What is man that You are mindful of him, or the Son of Man that You should consider him?
I have found favor in Your eyes that You should notice me! I am the Beloved of God.
I AM LOVED BY MY CREATOR. He bestows on me worth just be looking at me and smiling! When I know this, my meaning is fulfilled.
In Your presence, (or in Your face0 is fullness of joy, and pleasures forevermore.” Or, Psalms 21: “You make him most blessed forever. You make him joyful with the gladness of Your presence (Your face).”
This is not limited to interior feelings, or to spiritual things. I don’t have time to go here, but you know Matthew 6: “What shall we eat; what shall we put on; I shall make it through when I do the teaching, but not for now. After all these things do the Gentiles seek.” The word, ‘Gentile’ means those who were outside of the covenant, or outside of Jesus Christ. “But you,” said Jesus, “your Heavenly Father knows what things you have need of.”
That word ‘know,’ means to have a complete and informed knowledge, meaning He has looked in your close cupboard. He knows how many shoes your kids have, and He knows it is September/October and you need some more. He knows. He sees you. Love looks. And, that was enough for Jesus. He said, “Your Heavenly Father knows…” meaning that, if Love knows what you have need of, then Love provides. To KNOW is to PROVIDE; that is, the Father is not a disinterested observer. If He sees and knows, He provides. He is the answer.
He has… He is… He does… lift up His countenance upon you. He does. So, what do I do? I lift up my eye and catch His eye. His eye started this, so now I lift up my eye and dare to catch His eye, because you see, when someone looks across the room and catches your eye, for you to respond and let your eye be caught, is to accept their evaluation of you.
I say this very reverently, catch His eye. Accept your belovedness. Accept His evaluation of you for if he said you are worth the blood of Jesus Christ being shed, if you by His determination are purchased with the blood of God, then accept His evaluation and go and dance with God.

Looking into the face of Christ

Posted: July 14, 2015

The Christian must trust in a withdrawing God. Never try to arouse faith from within. You cannot stir up faith from the depths of your heart. Leave your heart, and look into the face of Christ. The ultimate ground of faith and knowledge is confidence in God. Faith does not operate in the realm of the possible. Faith begins where man's power ends Faith is a reasoning trust, a trust which reckons thoughtfully and confidently upon the trustworthiness of God. In all true faith there is complete committal to God. Real true faith is man's weakness leaning on God's strength. Only in a world where faith is difficult can faith exist.

Rejoice, Thanksgiving and Worship..

Posted: July 15, 2015

Rejoicing, thanksgiving, and worship is the worship language of Heaven
Your chief ministry is always to God] turning and yielding in your heart to the Lord. Understand that if your discipline is not earthed in delight, you won’t have the desire to see it through." Rejoicing is linked to God’s nature. He is good. His loving-kindness endures forever. Thanksgiving empowers us to rest in an attribute of God’s nature. What is God showing you about Himself at this time? Rejoice in that! Give thanks for who He is towards you
“Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus” (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18). The will God is always linked to His nature. All our main experiences of life, good or bad, should be connected to thanksgiving and rejoicing. When we rejoice as a lifestyle then life is less of a roller coaster. It flows. It is more stable and even. We experience more rest, more peace, more joyfulness and our capacity to believe cannot be diminished by events
In worship we are magnifying God, but we are also creating the environment so the Holy Spirit can do something
Thanksgiving creates blessing. Continuous rejoicing opens us up to increase. Life is about possibilities not negatives. Jesus said, “All things are possible, only believe” (Mark 9:23).
Thanksgiving has a creative power to produce good. It is good for us to rejoice. We are expanded on the inside. Our eyes are become watchful for blessing, increase and favor. Goodness is drawn to us as we lift up Jesus in our hearts. Rejoicing increases faith. Faith increases our focus and readiness to see God in everything and lean into Him. When we give thanks our ability to trust and believe increases dramatically, because praise produces power Rejoicing overcomes any inherent negativity and aligns our heart with the continuity of favor.
Thanksgiving keeps us present to the moment with God and increases our expectation of the future. It creates a space around us that negativity cannot penetrate. In this context our prayer life is empowered. We pray in faith not desperation. There is nothing wrong in prayerful desperation, if that is where you are and all you have. However, it is the prayer of faith that produces life and health [James 5:15]. If prayer is surrounded by celebration [1 Thessalonians 5:16-18] then the will of God has to become abundantly clear, no matter what is happening around us. Confusion is simply not possible when we have a lifestyle of thanksgiving and rejoicing.

Gentle Stillness from the Word of God.

Posted: July 16, 2015

The sound of 'gentle stillness' after all the thunder and wind have passed will be the ultimate Word from God. Strive in prayer; let faith fill your heart-so will you be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might. Let us thank God heartily as often as we pray that we have His Spirit in us to teach us to pray. Thanksgiving will draw our hearts out to God and keep us engaged with Him; it will take our attention from ourselves and give the Spirit room in our hearts.

Grace to get you through..

Posted: July 16, 2015

"May God grant you grace to take your share of trouble. Don’t pray for exemption, but may He teach you and use this strange servant to build your life into noble proportions of strength and beauty, and from your life healing streams of understanding and love will flow to broken lives and timid, fearful hearts “For he who suffers most has most to give.” -- John W Follette

Triumphant Prayer

Posted: July 17, 2015

Triumphant prayer is almost impossible where there is neglect of the study of the Word of God. If we then let the words of Christ abide in us, they will stir us up in prayer. Groanings which cannot be uttered are often prayers which cannot be refused. Prayer does not mean simply to pour out one's heart. It means rather to find the way to God and to speak with him, whether the heart is full or empty. We can do nothing without prayer. All things can be done by importunate prayer. It surmounts or removes all obstacles, overcomes every resisting force and gains its ends in the face of invincible hindrances God shapes the world by prayer. Prayers are deathless. They outlive the lives of those who uttered them. By prayer, the ability is secured to feel the law of love, to speak according to the law of love, and to do everything in harmony with the law of love. Non-praying is lawlessness, discord, anarchy.

Growth in Grace

Posted: July 19, 2015

A state of mind that sees God in everything is evidence of growth in grace and a thankful heart. he greater perfection a soul aspires after, the more dependent it is upon divine grace. When things are going bad that does not mean God has stopped doing good. It means He is shifting things around to get them in place for more good, if you will go on loving Him. Prayer gives us the significance of front-line forces, and gives God the glory of a limitless Provider. The one who gives the power gets the glory. Thus prayer safeguards the supremacy of God in missions while linking us with endless grace for every need.

In Fellowship with God

Posted: July 22, 2015

We are to be shut out from men, and shut in with God. In Fellowship; alone To God, with Faith, draw near, Approach His Courts, besiege His Throne With all the power of Prayer. Groanings which cannot be uttered are often prayers which cannot be refused. I feel it is far better to begin with God, to see His face first, to get my soul near Him before it is near another. It is only when the whole heart is gripped with the passion of prayer that the life-giving fire descends, for none but the earnest person gets access to the ear of God.

I will be the Dew to you..

Posted: July 23, 2015

God said, “I will be as the dew to Israel. As the dew comes every morning silently and invisibly and very mysteriously, to infuse the entire garden with its nourishing wetness/moisture, so, He says, I will be the dew to you – day following day following day following day following day, I will infuse your life with My life and with My strength.”
It is the beginning of all things new each day; It is new interventions, new deliverance, new power, New blessings to be received; new opportunities; new healing, new purpose, new mindsets, new relationships, new changes in your circumstances.
That is every day come fresh to receive something new and alive; recognizing that God is present to you and in you and as you given recognition to Him being present you also make room for Him to move in your life and circumstances. All that Christ affords in His death and resurrection are present and living now. It is alive and fresh every morning.
This is what He guarantees to us every day! Understand this. This is what He guarantees to us every day. In doing this, the blessing of God is God’s love in action. The blessing of God is the love of God in action; that is, it is the going forth of His love, so that the word ‘energy’ here is very appropriate. It is the going out, the pouring out from the heart of God of His love. That love, then, enters into us. It is the giving out; the pouring upon us of everything that He would be into us, and through us. This is what He wills for us, and this is what He would be us in every hour of the day. His dew is His blessings that have been secured by the blood of Jesus Christ. His favor to be received for it is secured. It is a covenant that began with the Father to His Son that is everlasting and unbreakable. We have been placed into that son and so we receive His favor based upon the blood of His son.
Our faith is to receive every morning. It is either like the dew on a car and never receives it and does nothing for the car, but the grass receives, benefits, draws up to it and thrives.
His lovingkindness are new every morning. Receive His dew. Just as a teacup has a capacity to hold a certain amount, but can be filled and filled again, every morning, come and receive the dew that is waiting for you.

Favor - an Everlasting Covenant of the Father

Posted: July 24, 2015

Favor is birthed in the relationship between the Father and Jesus. It is an everlasting covenant with God the Father to God the Son. The blood of Jesus Christ places you in God’s favor. It is unmovable, unshakable, and unbreakable. We are included because of our placement in Christ at salvation. We are in Him. The same favor is upon us. Your circumstances, your relationship and your conduct are to rise to the favor that is within you. Heaven has a right of possession over us and favor is the result. Rest in it.

The Anchor of our Faith

Posted: July 24, 2015

Looking unto Jesus. It is what and where we look at.
Where are you “looking” to anchor your faith? Are you attempting to look at your circumstances or looking how what you are feeling at the moment to determine your faith or are you trying to muster up faith within yourself?
Some people will say I believe, I believe, I believe. My questions is what do you believe?
Our faith has to be anchored in someone and something.
Faith is a response to His faithfulness.
When the first Passover took place, God speaks and says “when I see the blood”. Now, if there were two people at the first Passover and one responds to God and says “when God see the blood and that person then rests in it.” The second man response is, “not sure if I believe enough, been here in captivity too long or I don’t know if I esteem the blood enough.” If the second man looks away to what God says is His satisfaction and not look at himself to measure what and where his faith is, he could be at rest.
It is about how God sees the blood. It is about what He has done, not looking to what you have or do or how you see it. The question is; is God satisfied with the sacrifice of His son’s blood and broken body? That is where the anchor of faith must be.
We have turned faith into a work. We are looking within to see if we have enough. Scriptures say Looking unto Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith.
If you take your eyeball out to see how much sight you have, you see nothing or if you think you’re putting enough coins in you will get your Coke, which is not it.
The question should be is God the Father satisfied with Christ’s finished work, with His son’s bloodshed and His body broken? Is Christ satisfied with His finished work, His death and His bloodshed? Is it sufficient to heal and deliver? That is where your faith is to be.
It is the faith of Christ. Christ confidence in His father and His finished work.
Faith is a response to God’s faithfulness.
Greek- says we live by the faith of the son of God, not faith in the son of God. The Greek has it in the subjective genitive; therefore it is of not in.
It is grace through faith. When you see grace that is in Jesus Christ, God sees it as faith. Grace is the person of the Lord Jesus Christ, Himself, what he came to do, what He gives and does. When we recognize Him and what He does, God sees it as faith.
The examples are below:
Woman wipes Jesus feet with her hair estimates him- She was already forgiven, but she was appreciative and loved Him. It says her faith made her whole. She was not looking within to see how much faith she had. She was looking at Him, what He is and what He did.
Woman with issue of blood- All she knew is that Jesus heals, He came to heal and if she touches His garment she will be well. She didn’t look within herself to see if she had faith. Her eyes were on the One who came to heal.
Centurion – He sees Jesus authority in operation and Jesus comments and says it was the greatest faith in Israel. He wasn’t looking to see how much faith he had inside of himself. He knew if he gave an order; it would be obeyed because he had the Roman Empire behind him because of his submission to the Roman Empire. The centurion watches Jesus and knows that when Jesus says something, the heavenly hosts and God the father will back Him because He is submitted to His father.
They saw grace in Jesus Christ, God calls it faith.
It is what He came for to do for us to give us healing, deliverance & righteousness.

Am I hearing from God?

When you want God to tell you want you want to hear, it’s easy to convince yourself that you’re hearing from God.

Deep calling unto Deep..

Posted: July 24, 2015

If we will become quiet and listen, we will hear this “Deep” desire that is within the Lord, as He knocks on the door of our spirit, seeking a satisfaction that can be found in no other way than our hearing and responding to this “Deep that is calling to the deep within us.

Rejoicing, Thanksgiving & Worship is the Language of Heaven!

Posted: July 30, 2015

REJOICING, THANKSGIVING AND WORSHIP IS THE WORSHIP LANGUAGE OF HEAVEN

Your chief ministry is always to God. At the very least give God a tithe of your day in worship. Not worship and prayer and reading scriptures or meditating - JUST worship. Get used to always turning and yielding in your heart to the Lord. Understand that if your discipline is not earthed in delight, you won’t have the desire to see it through."
It creates energy, enthusiasm and strength. We are expanded on the inside. Our eyes are bright, watchful for blessing, increase and favor. Goodness is drawn to us as we lift up Jesus in our hearts. We make ourselves attractive to favor and blessing. We are able to look at life and circumstances differently, therefore we see the good in everything.
Exercise produces endorphins which can escalate our sense of wellbeing making us fitter, sharper and more alive in ourselves. Rejoicing increases faith which is the spiritual equivalent of endorphins. Faith increases our focus and readiness to see God in everything and lean into Him. When we give thanks our ability to trust and believe increases dramatically, because praise produces power Rejoicing overcomes any inherent negativity and aligns our heart with the continuity of favor.
We experience more rest, more peace, more joyfulness and our capacity to believe cannot be diminished by events.

Bless, Favor, Presence, Christ you are light, Christ is the provider, Christ deliverer , glory and lifter of our head, ever present, acknowledging and making room
When we refuse thanksgiving as a lifestyle then we ensure that our lives are unprotected from doubt, fear and unbelief. We are susceptible to any negative from any source or direction. We can be brought low by people, circumstances and enemy activity. We are assailable; a sitting duck for all that is detrimental to life, faith and happiness. People can be so fearful that they become pessimistic. We can have an outlook on life that is so counteractive to simple trust that we can become cynical towards those who want to believe God for something.
Rejoicing is linked to God’s nature. He is good. His loving-kindness endures forever. Thanksgiving empowers us to rest in an attribute of God’s nature. What is God showing you about Himself at this time? Rejoice in that! Give thanks for who He is towards you. When I was learning peace and rest as a lifestyle attribute, all my rejoicing flowed in and out of those virtues. I was so restful, I lost the ability to worry. Rejoicing increased my peace and thoroughly diminished my anxiety. On difficult days I began to discern goodness around me. In adversity I saw favor standing over me. Whatever attribute God is declaring to you will be increased in you by thanksgiving.
Thanksgiving is like a heat seeking missile. It hones in on a certain signature. It is drawn to connect with goodness, favor and faith. If that is true in one of a kind circumstances then it must have a greater power in multiple situations. My contention is that a lifestyle of rejoicing not only increases the power of favor over our circumstances; it also attracts favor to us from the future. We are present/future people because we are filled with the Spirit who discloses that which is to come [John 16:13]. It is absolutely possible for us to occupy a place in faith that increases our awareness of future possibilities in the heart of God towards us. “For I know the plans I have for you” says the Lord, “plans for welfare and not for calamity, to give you a future and a hope” [Jeremiah 29:11].
We are a people of identity and destiny, founded in Christ within, the expectation of glory. Our lives are always governed by something or someone. In Christ rejoicing increases His Presence within. In Christ, thanksgiving expands His power and influence upon all our situations. Our ability to discern God’s will and pray through it is dramatically expanded through thanksgiving. Rejoicing is a way of life. Without it, we are diminished in stature, power and enjoyment of God.

I will never leave you, nor forsake you.

I will never leave you nor forsake you
To Leave- not to uphold; to let one sink; let go of. A picture is used of a sailor at sea and the sailor goes over the edge of the boat. The man holding the rope lets go.
To leave is to let go of; not to hang on to.
God will never leave you to sink or let go of you or relax his hold. God is holding the rope. God is not going to let you sink. God is holding the rope. I will never leave you.
God is holding the rope and will never let you go. You will not sink. Hear it as it is written in the Amplified Version which brings it out in the Greek. “He [God] Himself has said, I will not in any way fail you nor give you up nor leave you without support. I will not, I will not, I will not in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake nor let you down relax My hold on you! Assuredly not!” You will not sink; God is holding the rope.
This statement is the promise of the making of the blood covenant.
The Old Testament statement of the blood covenant is
Deuteronomy 31:6 Amplified Bible (AMP)
6 Be strong, courageous, and firm; fear not nor be in terror before them, for it is the Lord your God Who goes with you; He will not fail you or forsake you. !” You will not sink; God is holding the rope.
It is faith in His Faithfulness. It is a blood covenant that is made with God the Father by the blood of His Son and made real by the Holy Spirit. It is unbreakable, unshakable and unmovable. You will not sink; God is holding the rope.
Faith, mighty faith, the promise sees, and looks to God alone; Laughs at impossibilities, and cries it shall be done. It is not my ability, but my response to God's ability, that counts. Faith is like radar that sees through the fog-the reality of things at a distance that the human eye cannot see. if you walk with Him and look to Him, and expect help from Him, He will never fail you.
